Split helps groups manage shared costs. Whether it's a trip, a dinner, or a group project, you can track who paid what, split expenses evenly or by custom weights, and calculate exactly who owes whom.
Click "New Event" in the sidebar to create a event. Give it a name (e.g. "Beach Trip" or "Team Dinner") and start adding members.
Add everyone involved in the event. You can add multiple members at once by separating names with commas. Members can be renamed or removed at any time.
Add expenses by specifying a title, amount, who paid, and how to split the cost. Choose equal split to divide evenly, or use custom weights to assign proportional shares to specific members.
Split automatically calculates the minimum number of transactions needed to settle all debts. Mark each transaction as settled as payments are made.
Use the Share button to generate a link that encodes your event data. Anyone with the link can import the event into their own browser. You can also export and import events as JSON files.
